Monday April 7th, 2008- The Shed guy still has not been back to paint our shed. I have called him a few times and he always has an excuses why he has not made it yet. Oh well I will just keep calling and bugging him until he gets it done. David & I made it to the gym. I walked the track pushing him. He fell asleep so I got my full hour of exercise in today. I gave the family home evening lesson on Jesus Christ. We sang two songs from the children’s song book, and explained to David who Jesus is and what he did for us. We used the gospel art kit. I know David does not understand completely yet what we were talking about but it is always good for Bryan and I to hear the basics again and for the Holy Ghost to testify to us of the gospels truthfulness as we try to teach our son. I also made a good raspberry cobbler for dessert.
Sunday April 6th, 2008-
We love Sundays. It was so nice to sleep in and have Bryan home to enjoy the whole day. I made Grandma Sorenson’s famous waffles for Breakfast. Bryan, I enjoyed watching and playing with David while we listened to General Conference. We are so grateful for our sweet little David and the joy he brings to our family. He is such a joy! Bryan’s parents came and watched the last session of General Conference at our house. They also had a nice BBQ brisket, garlic cheesy mashed potatoes, salad, and fruit dinner with us also. They sure love David. We enjoyed them and loved watching them interact with David. They are sweet Grandparents! David loves to smile
give slobbery kisses, spit all over. We sure love our sweet David even if he spits in our faces. General Conference was great this session. I sure enjoyed getting to know our new prophet Thomas S. Monson better. It was nice to here all the other general authorities testify they know that he is the correct one to be our prophet. I am grateful for him and got a conformation that he is a true prophet sent to lead us in these later days. I also felt the spirit very strong during the conference.
Saturday April 5th, 2008- David and I went into Boise again today. We dropped Bryan off a lunch at his work and then ended up at Amanda and Scott’s house. We watched a session of General Conference there. Mandy made a great healthy smoothie and some wheat bread that she ground the wheat for in font of me. I was really impressed with the taste of the bread. We then met Scott, Amanda and their children, Tami, CJ and their children, Janette, and Mark and their girls, and Mom Stevens at the tennis courts at Eagle high school. We played some tennis before the men had to leave for priesthood session. I had planned on being home before Bryan got home from work and had to the priesthood session of conference, but he told me to stay and enjoy the time with my family. He only was home from work for a few minuets to change his clothes before he headed to the priesthood session of conference. I appreciated him telling me that and I enjoyed playing tennis, talking and eating some great treats at Mom Stevens house after tennis. I did bring home pizza for Bryan to have for dinner. David again was such a good boy while we played tennis. He loves being out side so I think that helped.
These pictures were taken at Scott and Amanda's Saturday while we were there.

Friday April 4
th, 2008- David and I went to
Boise again.
We spent the morning helping Amanda move a few more pieces of furniture and got two metal shelves and pieces of granite from her garage that she wanted to get rid of.
I think we will be able to use them in our garage and shed.
I am excited to see how they will work. The granite will sit over the metal shelf to make a tool bench.
Around 2:30 we met at Tami’s house and went roller blading and biking. Tami and

Amanda’s children did not have school for some reason so it was fun to get together.
Janette and Mark also met us at Tami’s and we had fun on the ride/ stroll. We did a big loop around Tami’s neighborhood, stopped and let the kids play in the park and then ended back at Tami’s house.

These are some fun pictures from our excursion around Tami's neighborhood.

Friday morning when I went in to get David this is how I found him. His face was pushed up into the crib bumper pads and he was sideways in his crib. I guess he is getting around. Just not how you would expect.

Thursday April 3rd 2008- today I spent the day running errands, going to the grocery store, bank and other places. I did get some cookies made for one of the partners (Randy) at Bryans work. It is Randy’s 40th B-day. I made the cookies orange and Blue. He is a University of Idaho fan and does not like BSU so I had to make the cookies the bronco’s colors just for a good reaction. I also hit the very end of a Menu planning Enrichment night. We are going to do some freezer meal swapping in the future with the Enrichment night planning. That will be great when it happens. It was also great to get out. I went after David was in be and asleep. Bryan was home doing some tax things for work.
Wednesday April 2nd 2oo8- David and I went to the gym in the morning hours. I tried doing a kick boxing class but they had to come and get me after about a ½ hr because David was sad and could not be consoled in the child watch. As soon as I had him in my arms he stopped crying and was happy again. I think he has started to go through the stage again where he really just likes to know Mom is around. David is still drooling a lot. We can now see his two lower teeth when he smiles. It is so cute. The Shed is mostly done. It is a 10 by 12 shed. All they have left to do is paint it. They got the wrong kind of paint so they said they would come back tomorrow and finish it. We will have to see if that happens.
Tuesday April 1
st 2008- The shed guy showed up this week.
He was supposed to have started the shed last week but had a funeral that he went out of town for and forgot to call me. I called him Monday morning and he apologized. He changed out a few sprinklers yesterday and started building the shed today.
David and I went in to
Boise today.
We met Mom Stevens and Amanda at Idaho Athletic and played some racquetball.
We had a lot of fun.
I had to stop playing after about an hour because David was un-happy and the child watch could not get him to stop crying.
I am just grateful I got to play an hour before he got to fussy. After wards David and I went to Amanda’s.
We were able to help her move some up-stairs furniture. We also helped her set up a bunk bed that she bought off Craig’s list. David was a pretty good boy while we were there.
He sure does well and is extra happy when he is being entertained by his cousins.

This is David's new trick this week. He still is not crawling but he will stay in this position a while after I put him in it. He still is content to sit on his bum and reach for things
