Our vacation to Washington coming to an end.

Sunday April 19th, 2009- We arrived at Tami and CJ's around 6:30pm they were just finishing dinner but asked us if we wanted some. We ate a little and then helped them clean up. David loved playing with the other children until bed time. We have been putting him to bed way later than normal because he has been having fun with the other kids and been pretty pleasant. Once all the children were in bed us adults stayed up and talked for a while. CJ teaches early morning seminary so he retire a little earlier than us to finish preparing his lesson.
Monday April 20th, 2009- Today is my nephew Joshes 10th birthday. Happy birthday Josh...... We slept in until 7:30 am. Tami had home made breakfast cake for breakfast, with fresh fruit and juice. Bryan took a morning nap along with David. I decided to get on the computer and check our e-mails and see up-dated blogs. I also did the stationary bike while Tami did the elliptical in her garage. I got Bryan up around 11:00am and we went for a walk around Tami's neighborhood. She lives kind of in the country. It is such a green beautiful area. When we got back we showered and then left for Portland. We went to the children's museum. David(20m), Cole (almost 5) and Lora (2) had so much fun. We ate lunch there. They got to play hard. I got tons of pictures. We headed home around 3:30pm. We got back to Tami's not long after her elder boys got home from school. We put David down for naps. Sam watch David while Bryan and I went to the store for snacks for our ride home tomorrow. Tami also went to the store to get a few things for dinner. We had Stake, shrimp, potatoes, fruit, grape juice and strawberry short cake with a BBQ for Josh's birthday. We sang happy birthday and Josh opened presents. We also played some kick ball for FHE. We did not put David to bed until after 9:00pm. He was a tired boy. We had a great day though. After the children were in bed all us adults stayed up and talked. It was nice.

Tuesday April 21st, 2009- We got up around 7:30 am again. We had cereal with home made blueberry muffins and fresh fruits. Bryan loaded our Tahoe and we headed out around 8:15 am Kalama time or 9:15 Caldwell time. Tami packed us a delicious lunch to take with us of ham and cheese, carrots, celery, chips, cookies & capree suns. Thanks Tami & CJ for being wonderful hostesses. WE had a blast and look forward to seeing you again soon. The drive went pretty smoothly. We stopped to do some geo-cashes and to use the bathroom. We arrived home around 6:00pm. Bryan, David and I all are glad to be home. We unpacked the car, I made pizza for dinner, had scriptures, prayer and then put David down for bed. Then I unloaded all of our bags. Our trip was great!!!!!!!!!

Time spent with Brent, Andrea and Taryn on our Washington Vacation

Friday April 17th, 2009- We arrived at Brent, Andrea's and Taryn's around 3:00pm. Brent got home from work not long after that. David was sure shy at first. He had fallen a sleep on the way and was still trying to wake up. We enjoyed talking with Brent and Andrea. Brent and Andrea ordered pizza for dinner. Bryan and Brent went and picked it up along with two red box movies. Andrea made a great salad to go with the pizza. We ate dinner and then put David and Taryn down for the night. We enjoyed watching one of the movies " Vantage point."

Saturday April 18th, 2009- Bryan and Brent got up Saturday morning and went for a run. they took David with them. Bryan said David cried on the way back. He thinks it was a little to cold for him. Andrea and Brent made us waffles for breakfast. I love all the great food family made for us for meals.

David, Bryan & Brent headed out for a run.

Andrea made ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch and then we headed to North west Trek (it was kind of like a zoo). It was about an hour away from DuPont. We all squished in our Tahoe. I rode in the back. I layed down and took a nap. We took a 45 min tore (on a bus) of the area and say some animals. David was good on the tore for about 10min. I guess he is still a little young for tores. We also walked around the park for a little while seeing other animals that were not shown on the tore. We say Buffalo, elk, dear, mountain goat, black bears, grizzly bears and a few other animals. On our way back we got stuck in traffic about two exits before DuPont. We were glad we were not headed to Seattle with all that traffic.

We took a picture of the traffic as we exited in DuPont. This picture does not do the traffic justice. It was bumper to bumper. Once we got to Brent and Andreas, we unloaded the vehicle. Andrea took Taryn inside to feed her and Brent, Bryan, David and I went on to the army base were Brent works. We went to the consignment store to get some of the vegetables for dinner. Brent also drove us past the dental office were he works. When we got back I realized I had not changed David's diaper since before lunch. His pants were all wet and his diaper was leaking. I felt like such a bad Mom. Oh well. We stripped him down and gave him a bath.
Saturday night Andrea made a shrimp pasta meal. It had mushrooms, yellow squash, zukini and Shrimp in it. It was also mixed with a red sauce. It was really good. We had a green salad with it. Bryan and Brent went to go get gas in our Tahoe so we would not have to buy anything on Sunday. They returned with milk shakes for us. I have been craving milk shakes this last week. I have started to get bad heart burn and the milk shakes seam to help. While Brent and Bryan were gone Andrea and I watched some home buying show and what you should not wear show. When the guys got home we changed the show choice for them.
Sunday April 19th, 2009- David was up at 6:30 am. I got up and with him to keep him quiet and entertained so he would not wake the rest of the house up. We played down stairs, in the car and outside, then we took a shower. Most everyone was up once we got out of the shower. Brent and Andrea made eggs with ham, toast and Orange juice for breakfast. Boy do we feel spoiled with all the great meals. Taryn and David took a morning nap. David normally never takes a morning nap but he was grumpy from getting to bed to late and not having good naps. We woke him up to leave for church. Church was at 11:00am. We made it about 5min early and got a side bench. Both David and Taryn did pretty well during sacrament meeting. I took David to nursery and just stay with him in there until church was over. Andrea plays the piano in primary and Brent substitute taught in priesthood so Bryan tended Taryn during the last block of the meetings. After church we drove by the Pugent Sound and got a picture. Washington is sure green and beautiful. The weather has been in the 70's the whole time we have been here. It has been wonderful.

We fed David and Taryn a snack and put then down for naps again. Both children took good naps. We had an really good lunch/dinner. Adrea had put a roast, carrots and potatoes on before church so when we got home we ate while the children slept. It was really nice to eat in peace as adults. We also had Green salad and a fruit salad with the meal. After the meal Andrea was sweet and stayed with the napping children while Bryan, Brent and I went and did a few geocashes. David woke up not long after we got back and Taryn had just woken up when we got home. We fed the children dinner and then pack our SUV and left for Kalama. Thanks Brent and Andrea for being great hosts. We really enjoyed visiting!!!

Tax season has come to an end. Off to Washington we go.

Tuesday April 14th, 2009- My Friend Emily was sweet and watched David while I went and got my hair high lighted and trimmed. I have not gotten my hair trimmed for over a year so it was about time. I did not get a picture sorry. Thanks Emily for watching David. I spent the rest of the day packing for our trip to Washington. Bryan helped me load all of our bags in the car before we went to bed.

Wednesday April 15th, 2009- Tax Season is over today. Yipeee. Bryan's office closes their doors around noon and has an end of tax season party. They have lunch play games and get nice gifts. This year Bryan got a nice patio set of a picnic table and two chairs. He also won around $80.
I went into Boise for my 30 week check up. Before my appointment I stopped at my friend Heathers house to visit. I have not seen her for a long time and it great to visit with her. She was sweet and gave me some baby girl clothes. Then David and I hustled to my Dr.s appointment. Everything looks like it is going great with my pregnancy. After my appointment I headed to Bryan's parents. house. Von and Sheri are going to watch David while I meet Bryan at a restaurant down town from his offices dinner. His offices boss Mark treats all of the staff and there spouse to a very nice dinner. We ate tons of food. We had tons of appetizers, a great meal and tons of desserts. After the dinner Bryan and I went and picked David up. Thanks Von and Sheri for watching David. We left on our vacation to Washington around 9:45pm. David had a hard time in the car as we drove over the pass. He was a sleep but would wake up every 3-4 min and scream. I think his ears were hurting him as we drove over the pass. We ended up stopping around 1:00pm in Pendleton. We rented a motel and spent the night there. David had a rough night in the hotel. I ended up getting in his pack-N-play twice with him to help him fall back asleep. You can image how funny that must have looked.

Thursday April 16th, 2009- David was up bright and early 6:30 am. We all took a shower packed up an then enjoyed the hotels continental breakfast. We then loaded up and drove he 4 hours to my sisters house in Kalama Washington. We arrived around 12:30pm. Tami made us a great lunch. We put David down for a nap and Bryan and I were able to take a short nap. After the nap we spent some time out side checking out Tami's 2 acer property. It was so fun for David. We played with the two rabbits, threw rocks in the stream and climbed up into one of the two tree houses on the property.

Once CJ (Tami's husband got home) we left on a date. Tami had arranged a baby sitter and her oldest Son Sam watched her 5 other children and David. Us adult went out golfing. We ended up golfing the last hole in the dark but had a blast doing it. We then picked up dinner on our way back to Tami and CJ's house. We had burgers, Fries and a milk shake. David was in bed asleep when we got there. The other children were ready for bed. We adults played on short game and then enjoyed talking before going to bed.

The lense on the camera was not all the way open on this fist picture.

Friday April 17th, 2009- We slept in and got up to a wonderful German pancake breakfast, with fresh fruit that Tami made. We then headed to a nearby park were Bryan and Tami ran the path and I walked pushing David for about 1/2 hour. Then we let the kids play at the park. We came back to Tami's. I took a nap. I have caught a cold and have been really tired and congested. Then we showered ate lunch and headed to Brent and Andrea's in DuPont Washington. It is about 1 1/2 hours from my sisters house.
