March 12th-16th, 2008 Bryan passed the CPA exam

Sunday March 16th, 2008- We had ward conference today. We sang in the Choir during sacrament meeting. Brother Sherman held David for us while we sang. After church I had a short YW meeting with the stake so Bryan and David walked home. Bryan said it did not take very long but enjoyed the walk. We went into Boise and visited Angie Hobson in the hospital. She was planning on going home tonight with her sweet baby girl. She still was not 100% sure what her little babies name was going to be. She thinks they will name her Jodi. After leaving the hospital we stopped and visited Sheri and Von. They enjoyed holding and playing with David for a little while. Then we headed to my parents house and had a great Corn Beef and Cabbage dinner. We also celebrated kadie Howell’s 3rd Birthday. We left my parents around 8:30 pm. David fell asleep in the car on the way home. I enjoyed the drive and was delighted to talk with my husband all the way home. We both are getting excited to have tax season nearing the end. Bryan has about a month left tell tax season is over. (sorry no pictures)

Saturday March 15th, 2008 – Jamie and Gracee Simar arrived at our house around 7:45am. We car pooled to Boise. We picked up Mom Stevens and we went and did a 5K (3.1mile) walk/run. It was called the Basic 5 race and the YMCA organized it. It was at Julia Davis Park and we had a lot of fun.

Gracee got a little restless being in the stroller and the car seat for to long. Gracee did pretty well with all things considered.

David also was pretty good. We found out Brent and Andrea had their little girl today around 4:30pm. They named her Taryn Elise. She was a pretty big baby. She weighed 8lbs 2.3 oz and was 22 ½ inches long. We are excited for them and hope to be able to all of them soon. Bryan got home early 5:30pm from work today. It was so nice. We ordered mandarin chicken and refried rice for dinner and watched a movie.

Friday March 14th, 2008- I watched Gracee Simar today from 8-11am. She and David played pretty well together.

David and I went to a play group Easter egg hunt at the church from 11:30- 1:30pm. David loved the colorful eggs. He put them straight into his mouth. Emily Sherman was sweet and held David while helped hide the eggs for the hunt. David did not actually do the hunt but he loved to take the eggs from other peoples Easter baskets and stick them in his mouth.

Bryan and I also went on a date. Linda Sue Jensen put together a picture scavenger hunt (girls against guys.) It was a lot of fun. We started at Jensen’s house and then ended up at our house so we could put David to bed. Sophie Jensen and Erin Andrews watched David for half an hour while we did the scavenger hunt. David was good for the first little while but ended up crying for the last 15 min we were gone. Considering it was after his bed time he did well. When we came back to our house we look at the scavenger hunt pictures and added up the points. The girls won but the guys said we were disqualified so they won. The other couples that were there were the Andrews, Goettig’s, Sherman’s, Jensen’s and us. Angie Hobson had her baby today also. It is a little girl and they do not know what they are going to name her yet.

Wednesday March 12th, 2008- We received some great news in the mail today. Bryan passed the last sections of the CPA exam. We are sooooo excited to have him done with that test. We also received our tax refunds. We got more back this year than we have ever gotten back. It is great. I also talked to Kimber and Greg today. They both seem like they are doing well.Monday March 10th, 2008- We had some one come and give us a quote on what it would cost to put a shed in our back yard. Wit the money we are getting back in taxes I think we are going to put a shed in.
