David is Officially walking!!!! 11 1/2 m
We also spent some time taking pictures of our truck and my Honda 150 motor bike to put them on Craig's list and sale. 10min after we listed the truck we had an offer of some one wanting to buy it. We have the truck sold and have 4 other offers by the end of the night. We also have gotten plenty of e-mails from people trying to buy it. We had told the first person who called we would not officially sale the truck until he had come and driven it. So the sale of our truck is pending on the guy who is scheduled to look at it Tuesday after work. We even got an offer for more then we were asking for it. Bryan is bummed that he did not list the truck for more because obviously we could of sold it for more. We also did not expect it to sale so quickly. We will probable ended up with only one vehicle for a while until we can find the right price on the vehicle we want.
Monday July 20th, 2008- David and I went to a Mommy and me swim class. We had a lot of fun. David loves the water and enjoyed the fun songs we sang and the splashing in the water. I also made some cookies to bring to the dinner group tonight. So the awesome deal we thought we had on the 2003 Tahoe was not all it was cracked up to be. In the moring I called our bank (who we are approve through for the car loan) to get all the paper work done and worked out with the dealership. I also called the sales person we were working with at the dealership. To make a long story short the dealership would not fax the paper work to our bank and gave me and our bank the run around. After 4-5 phone calls Bryan ended up having to get off work an hour early so we could drive into the dealer ship and get things closed on the Tahoe. The dealership made us re-fill out all the paper work for the loan we were doing through our bank and then tried to charges us an additional $1000 up and beyond the price we had agreed on. After two hours of the run around at the dealership and the sales person trying to explain why we were ending up having to pay $1000 dollars extra, we ended up walking away from the deal with out the Tahoe. Bryan says he will never deal with that dealership (Peterson's Cheveroley of Boise) ever again. They were not honest with us on the price and gave us the major run around. We recommend you stay away from them if you are buying a car. After we left the dealership we headed back to Caldwell to show up late for our dinner group/ FHE at the Thompson's house. We had a good time there but were still frustrated with the time we wasted earlier at the dealership.
This is the picture of us trying to entertain David while the dealership was wasting our time.

Saturday July 19th, 2008- David slept really well last night. He woke up around 6:15am. I fed him and put him back to bed. Bryan and I met up with David and his brother in law Jake to go motor bike ridding. We left Von and Sheri's around 7:00am. Sheri was sweet enough to watch David while we went ridding. We had a lot of fun in the foot hills. We got back from ridding around 10:30-11:00 am. David had not been awake for long when we got back. We all put on our swim suites and headed to my 10th year class Reunion at Eagle Island park. We had lunch there and I enjoyed seeing some friends I had not seen for a while. After that we went back to Von & Sheri's. I put David down for a nap and then Bryan and I went and test drove the vehicle we liked. It was a 2003 Chevy Tahoe with 65,00 miles on it. Sheri watched David for us while we went. We were gone for about 1hr 15min. The sales person said he thought he could get the Tahoe down in our price range so we let him try. The Tahoe had been on the lot for over three months and they were going to be sending it to auction the beginning of August if it did not sale. The sales man was not able to get it close enough to our price range so we left back to Von and Sheri's. When we got back David was not awake yet. When David woke up we headed for home. When we got home the sales man had called us on our cell phone and said he had been able to get his sales Manager to agree to our price range. It was with in 10 dollars a month of what we had wanted so we agree to buying the car. We were pretty excited. We were suppose to come in on Monday and sign the paper work.

Friday July 18th, 2008- Bryan is still on summer hours at his office. He gets off around 12:00pm. We loaded our bags, motor bikes and riding gear into/onto the truck and headed into Boise. We spent a few hours stopping at car dealerships. We are looking at Tahoe, Yukon's or 4 door 4-wheel drive trucks. Our truck is on it's last leg so we need some thing to replace it. Then we headed to Von and Sheri's to help tear out their kitchen and dining room floor. They are having it replaced with laminate that looks like wood. Sheri watched David while Bryan and I spent 2-3 hrs tearing out carpet and riping up boards and laminate. We also had to make a run to home Depot to get some tools to make the job a little easier. Around 6:15pm we stopped for the evening. Sheri and Von were meeting some friends for dinner so Sheri sent us with some money out to eat. It was very nice of her to pay for our dinner. We went to Apple Bee's. Sheri also let us drive her car to dinner and to look at cars since our truck had the trailer on it and all three of our motor bikes. After diner we drove into a few more dealerships and found a few vehicles we want to look more closely at. Most of the dealerships were closing for the night so we will come back and look and drive the vehicles tomorrow. We spent the night at Von and Sheri's.
Thursday July 17th, 2008- David and I met Amanda, her 7 children and Don(Amanda's sister) and her 5 boys at the YMCA in Boise for some fun swimming. David loves the water. We had a blast splashing and playing in the water. Sorry I forgot to take pictures.
