Tuesday March 25th-31st- Before I tell you about my week I just want to let you know how blessed I have felt these last few days. I have felt a tremendous love and appreciation my husband, son David, for my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ. The Lord has blessed me with such sweet little miracles and I am grateful.
David has been waking up 4-5 times in the night for the past few weeks and it has started to wear me out. Thursday night in our night time family prays Bryan prayed that David would start sleeping better at night so that I (Gina) also would sleep better. Tuesday, and Wednesday nights David woke up 4 to 5 times in the night. Thursday night David woke up twice. Friday, Saturday and Sunday night David woke up once. It was great to have a few good nights of sleep. I know that praying for simple things like our son sleeping better through the night, some people may thing is silly, but for me it was huge. Not only did I appreciate Bryan taking the time to pray for me vocally, it also made me feel loved. I felt a strong love for my Heavenly Father and his awareness of me. It confirmed to me that he knows, loves, and cares for me. He has also blessed me to feel more patients as mother with my son. I am so grateful to be a mother, wife & to be part of an eternal family. I am grateful to have a husband who is a righteous priesthood holder who has faith to pray for me and have his prayers answered and to have a husband who can lead our home in righteousness.

Monday March 31st, 2008- Today David and I went to the gym. I put him in the nursery while did part of a kick boxing class. They had to get me out of the class after about 1/2hr because David would not stop crying. David is teething and has started to notice when mom is not around. He is also drooling a ton. Later on in the day David and I decided to go for a walk. I put him in the baby backpack and we enjoy a great walk in the warm weather. When Bryan got home after 7:00pm we ate dinner and then I gave the FHE lesson on the word of wisdom. The new LDS.org website has a great set up where you can play the words and music from primary songs. It was easy to use and made singing the opening and closing songs much more enjoyable. We put David to bed. Then we had brownies and ice cream for dessert and then took our measurements for the end result of our Fit and Fab family and friend challenge. Bryan lost 11 ¾ inches and I lost 16 ½ inches. I was amazed that we had lost so many inches. I felt great about the end result and I hope Bryan did also.

Sunday Mach 30th, 2008- David, Bryan and I walked to church today. It is a bright sunshiny day and felt great to walk. Church went well. After church we went home teaching to two of Bryan’s three families. We also dropped cookies off. Then we spent the evening watching “Enchanted” and another pg movie we rented from red box. Both movies were good choices.

Saturday March 29th, 2008- David and I went into Meridian/Boise today. We went to Mountain View High school and watched Kyle & Micah wrestle. Isaac also wrestled but was done before we arrived. All three boys did well. David also pretty good boy. Grandma Stevens was their and help and played with David most of the time. She was awesome at keeping him entertained and happy. Thanks Mom! David fell asleep in my baby back pack right before we left the meet. When I went to load him into the car he woke up and cried the ½ hr drive home. When Bryan got home I had a pizza dinner weighting and we went and rented some DVD’s from the Albertson’s red box. Today is also our last day of our Fit and Fab challenge. I ended up doing really well. I was perfect on exercising 6 days a week 60 minuets a day for the twelve weeks. I was perfect on my eating plan also. I feel really good about the end results and I lost 15 .7 lbs. I am not sure yet how many inches I lost but we will figure it out on Monday for family home evening. Bryan did really well for the first 2-4 weeks of the challenged and then tax season started and he got off track. He did loose 10.8 lbs in the twelve weeks though.

These are some of the cute pictures I took at the meet. I took some pictures of the actual matches but they did not turn out.

Friday March 28th, 2008- David and I delivered cookies we made to Bryan’s office. We then went to the library. We got some great books and even a nursery rhyme songs/book on tape. We then went and picked up Bryan at work and went out to eat. We went to a restaurant called the 9th street crossing. Our neighbors own it. They have live music on Friday nights. They sing old time country songs. David was great through dinner. I think we all really enjoyed the music.

Thursday March 27th, 2008- David and I went into Boise today. I was able to stop and get a walker for David. I found it on Craig’s list and got it for $10. David has not figured out how to move forward in it yet. He does push himself backwards in it though. Mandy, Janette, Mark, Mom Stevens and I got together and played tennis. The kids played really well in the park and David was a great boys playing with toys and sitting in his stroller. He took also took a short nap. Micah was sweet and held him for a little while too. We adults took turns watching the children and playing tennis. I think we all had fun and the weather was pretty warm also.

Daddy's home from work for the evening and David sure is happy about it! David and I Love to have Daddy home!

Wednesday March 26th, 2008- Today I cleaned the inside of the house. I swept and mopped the kitchen, and all three bathroom floors. I also cleaned toilets, sinks, mirrors, & shower. I also did dishes and some laundry and vacuumed the whole house. I felt pretty productive today.

Tuesday March 25th, 2008- This week is the start of spring break for all the school age children in the area. In our home spring break does not exist because it is during tax season. Today was a cleaning day for David and I. I put David in our baby back pack and went to work. We cleaned the garage (swept out the dirt), Washed and Vacuumed out the car, Made banana bread and did some weeding. I also went and played Volleyball at the church for a little while. David was good for about an hour while I played. I had planned on dropping the banana bread off at Bryan’s office but he called me and told me not to come. They had received a lot of treats from clients and did not need anymore treats. It was kind of a bummer. I ended up taking some of the banana bread to a family I visit and teach (Mandy Hennis). I still have two loaves I guess Bryan and I will just have to enjoy at home.

This is how the garage looked before we swept it out. I forgot to take an after picture.

March 18th- 24th, 2008

Monday March 24th, 2008- Today was a low key day. We went to the gym and did some laundry, dishes, and mopped the kitchen floor but besides that we just enjoyed reading stories and relaxing. The fence guy came and finished putting in our 12 ft gate. I also talked to Greg and wished him a happy late Easter. He sounds like he is doing ok.

Sunday March, 23rd, 2008- It was great this morning. David and Bryan both slept in. I got up early, took a shower and enjoyed getting ready. I straightened my hair, got make up on and painted my finger and toe nails. It was great. I can’t remember the last time I have had that much time in the morning to get ready. David had a rough day at church today. He was fussy and tired. He is teething and I think 11:00 am church is at a hard time where it interrupts both of his naps. When we got home from church we had a small snack. Bryan took care of David while I got dinner ready. Scott, Amanda and their 7 children are coming over for dinner and an Easter egg hunt. David did take a nap and Bryan was able to enjoy some down time. I made home made rolls, turkey pockets, mash potatoes, gravy, green salad and a fruit salad. Amanda made Cinnamon rolls for dessert. Bryan was sweet and set the tables and hid the Easter eggs for the hunt. It was great having them over. The kids were really cute looking for the Easter Eggs. We also enjoyed talking with Scott and Amanda. Here are some pictures of our great Easter Sunday.

This is how the two boys started.

Then Gideon rolled over

Then David rolled over.

Many and I were in the kitchen cleaning up dinner when Bryan said come look at David and Gideon. David had rolled over from his back and had his arm around

Gideon. I think these cousins are going to be good buddies. What do you think?

Thomas has Bryan's basketball shoes on. I guess if the shoe fits wear it!

Before I would let the kids go on the Easter egg hunt I told them I needed a group picture.

After the big hunt.

After church and before Scott and Amanda's family came David and Bryan had to find their Easter baskets.

David's favorite thing was eating the bag. David got mostly teething toys and plastic eggs. Bryan will eat the candy that is in the eggs for David.

Daddy and David loving there Easter candy.

Sunday morning we came into David's room and this is how he was. He has been turning 90 degrees in his crib. I guess he can move when he wants to.

Saturday March 22nd, 2008- David and I went to the gym. I put David in the nursery while I did a little rock climbing. I decided I would ask some guy there at the YMCA to belay me so I could climb. I had fun climbing. I am defiantly not as strong as I use to be. I did make it to the top of one of the hardest routes but I was shaking when I finally got up to the top. David and I also went for a walk with Jacobi and Jax Conley. David fell asleep on the walk so we went into the Conley’s house and talked for a while. I am always amazed at the positions babies can sleep.
(how can he sleep like that?)

Bryan got off work a little early 6:00 pm instead of 7:00. We did our regular Saturday visit to Wal-Mart together. It was crazy there. I think a lot of people were getting in there last minuet Easter shopping. We picked up a few groceries and a few last minuets Easter things. We stopped at Papa Murphy’s and got a take and bake pizza. It was around 8:45 when we got home and we still had not eaten dinner. I stuck the pizza in and then took David up to feed him and put him to bed. It was around 9:15 when I finally got to eat dinner. We did a revised eating play for our fit and Fab challenge. I filled Easter eggs and got Easter baskets hidden. I had rented “I am Legend” so we stayed up late watching the movie. David woke up in the middle of it so I left fed him and put him back to bed. Bryan continued the movie with out me. I am not a fan of scary movies like that so I was fine with missing part of it.

Friday March 21st, 2008- David and I met Mandy at the racquetball courts in Boise again (Scott dropped her off). David, Gideon were great in the nursery. Kyle watched Eliza, Tommy and Issac at home while we played. We played from 10:20- 12:00pm. Both of us got a great work out! After playing we headed to Mandy’s house. David fell asleep on the way there. I decided to head home. Janette called me as I was headed out and said she had arranged tennis for 2:30pm. I went to A&W and got a salad for lunch and then headed to Tami’s to wait to play. We had fun playing. Janette and I were partners. Scott and Tami were partners and Mark and Amanda were partners. Tami and Scott were the champions of the playing. We all had fun. Von and Sheri stopped at our house to see David on their way to Organ for spring break. They only stayed for about 10min. Von was eager to get dinner and then get some geo-cashes done on there drive. We invited Mark and Janette and their two children Kadie and Mary over for dinner and games. When Bryan got home we started up our motor bikes and rode them around the block. March and Janette pulled up as we were putting the bikes away so Mark took my two bikes for a spin. We had sloppy Joes for dinner. We put our children to bed upstairs around 8:00-8:30 pm and then had fun playing pinochle. Bryan and Mark were the champs. We had a lot of fun. I sure appreciated Bryan staying up late and playing even though he has to be up for work in the morning.

Wednesday March 19th, 2008- David and I went into Boise around 9:30 am. On our way out we dropped a sack lunch off for Bryan at his work. We met Amanda at Idaho Athletic off of State Street in Boise. David, Eliza, and Gideon were good in the nursery for 1hr and 15 minuets while we played racquetball. The day care lady had to come and get me after that because David was being fussy. It was past his nap time. Amanda and her two children headed home. David and I went and visited my old work. Dr. Lewis and the staff were glad I stopped. KC the head front office lady was gone for lunch and Debbie (hygienist) was not their but I enjoyed seeing every one else. David fell asleep in the car on the way to Amanda’s. She made me a great turkey sandwich for lunch. David and I stayed and visited there until around 6:00pm. We helped Mandy with dinner. We made a health fruit salad. Mandy sent us home with a very health dinner (chicken, potatoes, asparagus, and fruit salad). Bryan and I sure enjoyed the dinner.

Tuesday March 18th, 2008- This afternoon I was suppose to watch Gracee Simar. I did not end up watching her. David and I went to the gym and did our regular 1hour of walking around the track. Besides that nothing exciting happened today. David has two teeth that are starting to come in. They are his lower anteriors.

David likes to try to eat the remote control.

March 12th-16th, 2008 Bryan passed the CPA exam

Sunday March 16th, 2008- We had ward conference today. We sang in the Choir during sacrament meeting. Brother Sherman held David for us while we sang. After church I had a short YW meeting with the stake so Bryan and David walked home. Bryan said it did not take very long but enjoyed the walk. We went into Boise and visited Angie Hobson in the hospital. She was planning on going home tonight with her sweet baby girl. She still was not 100% sure what her little babies name was going to be. She thinks they will name her Jodi. After leaving the hospital we stopped and visited Sheri and Von. They enjoyed holding and playing with David for a little while. Then we headed to my parents house and had a great Corn Beef and Cabbage dinner. We also celebrated kadie Howell’s 3rd Birthday. We left my parents around 8:30 pm. David fell asleep in the car on the way home. I enjoyed the drive and was delighted to talk with my husband all the way home. We both are getting excited to have tax season nearing the end. Bryan has about a month left tell tax season is over. (sorry no pictures)

Saturday March 15th, 2008 – Jamie and Gracee Simar arrived at our house around 7:45am. We car pooled to Boise. We picked up Mom Stevens and we went and did a 5K (3.1mile) walk/run. It was called the Basic 5 race and the YMCA organized it. It was at Julia Davis Park and we had a lot of fun.

Gracee got a little restless being in the stroller and the car seat for to long. Gracee did pretty well with all things considered.

David also was pretty good. We found out Brent and Andrea had their little girl today around 4:30pm. They named her Taryn Elise. She was a pretty big baby. She weighed 8lbs 2.3 oz and was 22 ½ inches long. We are excited for them and hope to be able to all of them soon. Bryan got home early 5:30pm from work today. It was so nice. We ordered mandarin chicken and refried rice for dinner and watched a movie.

Friday March 14th, 2008- I watched Gracee Simar today from 8-11am. She and David played pretty well together.

David and I went to a play group Easter egg hunt at the church from 11:30- 1:30pm. David loved the colorful eggs. He put them straight into his mouth. Emily Sherman was sweet and held David while helped hide the eggs for the hunt. David did not actually do the hunt but he loved to take the eggs from other peoples Easter baskets and stick them in his mouth.

Bryan and I also went on a date. Linda Sue Jensen put together a picture scavenger hunt (girls against guys.) It was a lot of fun. We started at Jensen’s house and then ended up at our house so we could put David to bed. Sophie Jensen and Erin Andrews watched David for half an hour while we did the scavenger hunt. David was good for the first little while but ended up crying for the last 15 min we were gone. Considering it was after his bed time he did well. When we came back to our house we look at the scavenger hunt pictures and added up the points. The girls won but the guys said we were disqualified so they won. The other couples that were there were the Andrews, Goettig’s, Sherman’s, Jensen’s and us. Angie Hobson had her baby today also. It is a little girl and they do not know what they are going to name her yet.

Wednesday March 12th, 2008- We received some great news in the mail today. Bryan passed the last sections of the CPA exam. We are sooooo excited to have him done with that test. We also received our tax refunds. We got more back this year than we have ever gotten back. It is great. I also talked to Kimber and Greg today. They both seem like they are doing well.Monday March 10th, 2008- We had some one come and give us a quote on what it would cost to put a shed in our back yard. Wit the money we are getting back in taxes I think we are going to put a shed in.
